For pastors
Seminars for small church pastors
Most pastors don't serve churches with large staffs or deep budgets. They lead with a handful of faithful volunteers, a tight budget, and more work than one person can carry. Joe has spent thirty years in ministry and knows that reality firsthand.
His seminars come from the same practical material he shares in The Pastor's Workbench, his online community for pastors. Every session is built for the small church, with no assumption of extra staff or a big budget, just tools and ideas a pastor can put to work the following Monday.
Topics
- Church administration
- Sermon development
- Recruiting and keeping volunteers
- Fundraising and stewardship
- Using AI to save time on the work that keeps piling up
Joe teaches in person at conferences, regional gatherings, and pastors' retreats, and online for groups that can't travel or want to train their team without the cost of a trip. Online sessions work well for a single topic, while in-person events can cover several topics over a day or a weekend.
For church teams, the AI material draws on Joe's book, Anointed Algorithm.
Beyond the church
AI for businesses and organizations
The same habits that help a pastor carry a heavy load help any team: write down what you know, make the process repeatable, and let AI work from your own information instead of starting from zero every time.
Joe works with businesses and organizations from first principles, starting with how the work actually gets done before choosing any tool. He builds knowledge bases that give AI your standards and history, connects AI to the systems a team already uses, creates practical business applications, and trains departments until they can use AI on their own work.
What that can include
- Knowledge bases and standing instructions for AI assistants
- Workflows for sales, operations, communication, and research
- Connecting AI to the tools and systems you already use
- Custom business applications and technical documentation
- Phased training, from discovery to department-level use
